Description:
Weare looking for a passionate engineer to help develop the nextgeneration of ABB’s medium voltage drive, ACS8080. In this role,you will work on cutting-edge embedded software that powershigh-performance industrial solutions used worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design andimplement embedded real-time software using modern C++.
- Contribute across the full software development lifecycle:requirements, design, coding, testing, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with global teams to create common controlsolutions for multiple applications.
- Performcomprehensive testing to ensure reliability and performance.
- Provide expert technical support for commissioning andtroubleshooting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, SoftwareEngineering, or Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics,Robotics and similar, with strong work experience in softwaredevelopment.
- 3+ years of experience in modern C++(C++14/17/20) development, with exposure to software designprinciples, modular architecture and large code bases.
- Solid understanding of embedded systems, configuration management,CI/CD, and testing practices.
- Interest or basicfamiliarity with control systems concepts and industrial automationis a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability tothrive in a global, collaborative environment.
- Amotivated, creative, and self-organizing team player who lovessolving complex challenges.
