The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
Responsibilities
* As the Country Marketer (m/f/x) for Austria within the Medical Surgical (MedSurg) Division, drive business growth and increase market penetration.
* Localize and execute integrated marketing campaigns tailored to the Austrian market.
* Lead demand generation: generate qualified leads, develop local communication strategies, and manage participation in events and congresses.
* Contribute to the marketing planning process and own the annual marketing activity calendar for Austria.
* Monitor market trends, customer needs, and industry developments to inform marketing strategies.
* Oversee the marketing budget and ensure efficient resource allocation.
* Collaborate with internal departments (marketing, sales, clinical teams) to align on objectives with overall business goals.
* Foster and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support business initiatives.
Your Skills And Expertise
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
* Experience in a product management or country marketing role within the healthcare industry.
* In-depth knowledge of the Austrian healthcare system.
* Proven expertise in marketing planning, product launches, and executing integrated marketing campaigns.
* Strong organizational and influencing skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams.
* Creative problem-solving and adaptability to changing circumstances.
* Fluency in English and German.
Additional qualifications that could help
* Affinity with digital marketing strategy and techniques.
* Experience in hospital and out-of-hospital markets (e.g., home care providers, pharmacies, general practitioners).
Work location & Travel
Hybrid eligible, with a combination of remote work and in-office presence at the Vienna office (2 days per week).
Travel may include up to 25% domestic travel, with occasional international travel as needed.
Employment details
Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.
The minimum salary (fixed and variable components) is €50,000 gross per annum, with potential for higher remuneration based on qualifications and experience.
