Global Category Manager (all genders)

Your Responsibilities:

• Ensure continuous supply and prevent line-down in escalation situations
  
• Cost optimization for ongoing projects, developing price reductions in the given commodity area and measuring results using existing tools and reporting them
  
• Establish supplier relations, which includes daily communication and building a long-term relationship strategy
  
• Ensure professional support, communication and coordination for relevant stakeholders
  
• Establishing and heading intercompany task forces in critical situations
  
• Monitoring trends in supplier markets, developing opportunities and risks - Developing strategic goals, target supplier portfolio
  
• Monitoring and improving of purchasing processes
  
• Regular traveling is necessary mainly in EU
  

Your Profile:

• Experience gained in Global Strategic Purchasing or Sales (min 5 years)
  
• Higher education (not necessarily in electronics)
  
• Quick and agile thinking, adapting to market conditions
  
• Proactivity
  
• English language skills at a negotiation level in written and spoken
  
• Independent and autonomous work, business strategic thinking
  
• Confident use of MS Office; SAP
