As a Requirements & Systems Engineer, you translate user needs into precise system requirements, facilitate workshops, and ensure verification – contributing directly to the quality and innovation of our measurement systems.
Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and moderate workshops for eliciting user and stakeholder requirements
* Analyze, structure, and document requirements according to IREB-compliant methods and internal Anton Paar processes
* Derive system requirements from user requirements and ensure traceability to design and test levels
* Collaborate closely with product management, project management, and system architects to ensure completeness and consistency of requirements
* Support interdisciplinary development teams in the implementation and application of requirements throughout the entire product lifecycle
* Derive and document test cases based on system requirements
* Support system tests during prototype and pre-series phases in the laboratory
* Act as key user for requirements management tools (Polarion)
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company-wide requirements engineering process
Your profile:
* Degree in engineering, physics, computer science, or a comparable field (BSc/MSc or equivalent)
* Several years of experience in requirements engineering
* Ideally IREB certification (Foundation Level or higher)
* Excellent English (C1/C2) and German (C1/C2) language skills
* Strong ability to moderate technical discussions and consolidate complex stakeholder requirements
* Broad technical understanding (software, electronics, mechanics, physics)
* Willingness to travel (approx. 20%)

We offer a fair and market-aligned salary based on the collective agreement for employees in the metal trade – adjusted to the regional conditions of the Styrian labor market. The minimum gross monthly salary for this position is €3,500 (based on full-time employment). What truly counts for us are your personality, your skills, and the experience you bring.
