Role Description
This is a contract‑based on‑site role located in Tokyo for a Freelance IT Support Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and addressing system issues to ensure the smooth operation of IT systems. Tasks include system administration, help desk support, and assisting with hardware and software solutions. The role requires hands‑on support for users and systems, as well as collaboration with the wider IT team to resolve technical issues effectively and efficiently.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Technical Support and Help Desk Support to assist and resolve user and system issues
* Strong knowledge of Information Technology and System Administration to manage and maintain IT systems
* Expertise in Troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical problems efficiently
* Ability to work independently in an on‑site capacity in Tokyo
* Excellent problem‑solving and time management skills
* Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or equivalent are a plus
* Familiarity with networking and server hardware is advantageous
