Job Title: Associate Team Lead for Digital Business-Unit
Overview The Associate Team Lead will support the further development of one of our digital business units. You will gradually grow into leadership responsibilities and take on your first management and organisational tasks related to project management, capacity planning, processes, consulting and development. You will work closely with an experienced Team Lead and the leadership team, learn how to design structures and increasingly carry out operational responsibilities independently. At the same time, you will work on selected digital projects with a clear impact: marketing-oriented, data-driven and based on modern e-commerce, PIM and platform architectures. This role is ideal for individuals who already have solid digital experience and now want to grow into leadership. In this role, you’ll assist with structuring, prioritising and organising, take on initial leadership tasks and actively contribute to the further development of your team and our digital way of working. As your experience grows, you will take on more responsibility and develop into a full‑fledged team lead role.
Responsibilities
* Support in team building: You will be involved in selecting and onboarding new team members, learn how roles, responsibilities and team structures are created, and play an active role that gradually grows into your first management tasks.
* Collaboration in team development: Provide technical and organisational support to colleagues, help set priorities and strengthen the team in its day‑to‑day work, recognise and promote skills and lead them to common standards.
* Support in resource and capacity management: Assist with planning, forecasting and internal coordination to ensure that projects run efficiently and the team maintains a clear overview.
* Process support and optimisation: Work on further developing our processes, assist with quality assurance and take responsibility for ensuring that existing processes are adhered to and developed in a meaningful way.
* Communication & coordination: Take on defined communication tasks with customers and internal stakeholders, prepare content clearly, ensure transparency and keep the threads between project management, consulting and development together.
* Operational work on digital projects: Work on selected digital projects – from UX workshops and concept development to technical coordination – deepening expertise in e‑commerce, PIM, data models and UI/UX and becoming a reliable contact person for defined sub‑areas.
* Collaboration in consulting & workshops: Assist in the preparation and implementation of workshops, analyses and discovery phases.
* Support in business development: Contribute to proposals, presentations and pitch documents and learn how to structure, argue and professionally present solutions.
* Close collaboration with team lead and leadership: Work closely with your team lead and the leadership team, learn about decision‑making processes and jointly develop new approaches and standards that strengthen our digital work.
Qualifications
* Initial leadership tendencies: You don't need to have held a leadership role before, but you should have a sense of responsibility, team spirit and a desire to grow into a leadership role.
* Experience in digital projects: Several years of experience in the digital environment – e.g. in agencies, e‑commerce, platform or tech projects – and familiarity with the processes of modern digital work.
* Understanding of UX/UI, tech, e‑commerce and data: Basic logic of digital architectures, customer experience, UI/UX and data‑driven setups and a desire to deepen this knowledge.
* Structure and clarity: Work in an organised manner, set priorities and maintain an overview and orientation even when dealing with multiple topics.
* Strong communication skills: Communicate clearly, respectfully and on an equal footing – both internally and externally – thereby creating transparency and trust.
* Willingness to take on responsibility: Take on tasks independently, drive issues forward and are willing to take on more responsibility step by step.
* Willingness to learn and growth mindset: Want to develop yourself further, use new methods and technologies, and make meaningful use of AI‑supported working methods.
* Team orientation: Enjoy working with people, are empathetic, and support constructive, appreciative cooperation.
* Hands‑on mentality: Take a pragmatic approach, remain calm when things get busy, and find solutions that help your team move forward.
