NXP Semiconductors is seeking an experienced professional to further develop the security technology pillar across NXP’s broad portfolio of microcontrollers, applications processors, and networking controllers.
As product marketing, you will play a leading role in driving security at the Edge for IoT/Industrial applications and develop a vision of edge processing security that creates value for customers. In particular, you will support equipment manufacturers and system integrators in meeting compliance with upcoming cybersecurity regulations, protecting emerging AI/ML applications, and building resilience in a dynamic cyber landscape.
In this horizontal role, you will collaborate closely with multiple teams, including NXP product managers, R&D, CTO, system engineering and marketing, customer application support, global sales, and business development teams. Your responsibilities include identifying customer needs, articulating a value proposition, developing product security roadmaps, and creating a coherent security offering across NXP's edge processing portfolio, while ensuring ease of use of this complex security technology.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Identify and structure security requirements for various market segments at IC, software, services, and customer development tool levels.
* Support R&D and CTO in defining security platform roadmaps to ensure scalability across the edge processing portfolio.
* Assist product managers in specifying product security, selecting appropriate security platforms balancing cost and security, and establishing business cases.
* Define security offerings at the system level, working with stakeholders across the supply chain and ecosystem.
* Expand NXP's security ecosystem and develop strategic partnerships.
* Develop and own product security roadmaps for NXP's MCU/MPU portfolio and foster a pipeline of security innovations.
* Conduct competition analysis and develop positioning materials.
* Support sales and marketing in customer engagements to ensure success.
* Create marketing materials related to security offerings, including webpage content in collaboration with marketing teams.
* Define and execute marketing communication plans; participate in conferences and tradeshows; produce blogs, articles, webinars, speeches, press releases, and press events to enhance NXP's leadership position in security.
Candidate Profile: Essential Skills & Experience
* Master of Science in Electrical Engineering; MBA is a plus.
* Over 10 years of experience in Marketing, Product Management, and Business Development.
* Proven experience in the semiconductor industry, specifically with microcontrollers and/or microprocessors, and security technology for embedded systems.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of simplifying complex topics for non-experts.
* Ability to engage with customers and partners at all levels, from engineers to executives.
* Fluent in English (mandatory).
* Desire to learn, grow, and make an impact.
* Self-driven and autonomous.
* Team player, capable of working collaboratively across geographies and functions to drive cross-functional team performance.
