Mandarin Oriental Vienna is looking for a Junior Concierge to join our Concierge Team.

The Mandarin Oriental, Vienna, located in a historic building, offers 138 rooms and suites, an elegant restaurant, a sophisticated bar, as well as a spa with treatment rooms, a swimming pool, and a fitness center. The 22 exclusive residences on the top floors offer private rooftop access, outdoor terraces, and stunning city views, with direct access to hotel facilities and Mandarin Oriental’s legendary service.


Information about the position

Als Junior Concierge im Mandarin Oriental, Wien bist du Teil des Concierge Teams und für verschiedene Aufgaben verantwortlich. Du berichtest an unseren Head Concierge.


Responsibilities

* Planning, organizing and coordinating the concierge desk, both at the Mandarin Oriental Vienna hotel as well as at the Mandarin Oriental Vienna Residences.
* Maintaining guest satisfaction at the level of Mandarin Oriental.
* Ensuring a warm and smooth reception for all of our guests.
* Conveying appreciation and recognition to our guests to create lasting positive memories.
* Working in a service-oriented manner, thoughtfully and with attention to detail.
* Ability to perform all functions in the Front Office according to operational requirements.
* Being present at the reception during peak times to provide operational support to the team.
* Providing "hands‑on" support to the team, including check‑ins/check‑outs, handling guest requests, and other tasks.
* Actively interacting with guests and colleagues as an ambassador of the hotel.
* Ensuring that all relevant standards regarding quality, sustainability and FLHSS (Fire Life Health Safety Standards) in the Rooms Division area are understood and adhered to.
* Adhering to all applicable standards such as LQE (Leading Quality Experience), MOQA (Mandarin Oriental Quality Assurance), SDH (Service Delivery Handbook) and continuously promoting service excellence.


Qualifications

* Extensive knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, events and services.
* Familiarity with hotel management systems and booking software.
* Excellent communication skills in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
* Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to handle conflict situations professionally.
* High social competence and sensitivity to cultural differences.
* High standards regarding personal hygiene, behaviour and appearance.
* Commitment to continuous improvement and service excellence.
* Charismatic personality with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
* Ability to collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service.
* Willingness to provide "hands‑on" support and actively participate in daily operations.
* At least 3‑5 years of experience in a similar position in the hospitality industry, ideally in a luxury hotel.

The collective minimum gross monthly salary for this position is €2,263.00. There is a willingness to offer a higher salary depending on qualifications and work experience.
