This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality plumbing and bathroom fitting work in domestic properties that have been affected by fire, flood, or other insured damage. You'll play a crucial role in restoring homes to their pre-loss condition, working in both occupied and unoccupied properties while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform all aspects of plumbing work, including replacing damaged pipework, radiators, and heating systemsInstall bathrooms, shower enclosures, and water systems to insurance specificationsConduct general building tasks including stripping out fire/flood damaged areasRemove damaged materials and prepare areas for reinstatementCollaborate closely with other trades including plasterers, electricians, decorators, and carpentersEnsure all work meets high quality, safety, and industry standardsFollow health and safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and COSHH requirementsMaintain a clean, tidy, and respectful working environment within clients' homesCommunicate empathetically and professionally with homeowners during what can be a stressful timeKeep accurate records including timesheets, job records reports, and before/after photosOccasionally attend emergency call-outs or strip-out worksAttend training sessions, toolbox talks, and team meetings as requiredSkills, Knowledge & ExpertiseEssential RequirementsNVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent experience/time served)Proven experience in domestic repair and refurbishment worksGood knowledge of general building techniquesFull UK driving licenceStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDesirableExperience in insurance restoration workUnderstanding of fire and flood damage repair processesFlexibility to work away from home when requiredSalary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary of circa £40,000 per annum and provide a comprehensive range of benefits including:Holiday entitlement increasing with service (up to 25 days plus bank holidays)Company pension schemeLife insurance (2x annual salary)Company van with fuel cardEnhanced sick pay and employee assistance programmeOvertime rates and meal allowances for away workSEED Environmental is an equal opportunities employer committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.To apply, please submit your CV and a covering letter explaining why you're the right fit for this role.
