Remote is seeking a Payroll Risk & Compliance Expert for Benelux. This role focuses on payroll and employment compliance across multiple countries/markets, leading audits, shaping governance frameworks, and coaching the team to scale Remote’s compliance capabilities.

What You’ll Do
* Lead complex audits across multiple countries or domains with 100% on-time delivery.
* Support compliance investigations, partnering with stakeholders and embedding learnings/new processes to resolve swiftly.
* Design and implement scalable governance frameworks to elevate compliance maturity.
* Lead strategic initiatives globally, partnering with product, engineering, and customer success to embed compliance into all activities.
* Ensure policy alignment across countries/markets.
* Resolve high-priority risks/issues and embed lessons learned.
* Maintain core compliance documentation.
* Deliver mentorship or coaching to improve team growth year over year.
* Achieve ≥90% positive feedback from cross-functional stakeholders on compliance partnership.
* Tailor messaging and materials to audience needs; support quarterly coaching/upskilling documentation.

Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range: 90,400 - 101,700 EUR. Salary bands reflect role, level, and location, and may be adjusted for market demands. Remote’s compensation philosophy emphasizes pay equity and above in-location rates. Benefits include global and country-specific offerings; examples include:
