Account Manager OSM Austria Company: Omya GmbH Job Summary Omya GmbH is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Account Manager to manage and grow our customer accounts in Austria. This role involves building strong customer relationships, driving sales, and providing excellent technical support within the OSM (Omya Specialty Minerals) Responsibilities * Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships within the assigned territory, acting as the primary point of contact. * Proactively identify and qualify new sales leads and opportunities to expand Omya's market presence. * Conduct thorough market analysis and generate regular reports on industry trends, competitor activities, and sales performance. * Manage the opportunity pipeline effectively, from initial contact to successful deal closure. * Negotiate and finalize contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for both Omya and the customer. * Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to customer needs and Omya's offerings. * Coordinate pricing strategies in collaboration with internal stakeholders to optimize profitability and market competitiveness. * Provide technical customer support, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and offering solutions related to Omya's OSM products. * Efficiently resolve customer complaints, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. * Develop and execute comprehensive territory sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets. Qualifications * Proven experience in account management or a similar customer-facing sales role, preferably within the chemical, minerals, or related industry. * Demonstrated expertise in Customer Relationship Management. * Strong ability in Lead Generation and Qualification. * Proficiency in Market Analysis and Reporting. * Experience with Opportunity Pipeline Management. * Excellent skills in Presentation and Proposal Development. * Solid understanding of Pricing Strategy Coordination. * Capability to provide effective Technical Customer Support. * A track record of successful Complaint Resolution. * Proven ability in Contract Negotiations. * Experience with Territory Sales Planning and execution. * Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken. * Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to travel frequently within Austria & Germany (Bavaria).
