What to expect:
* Legal Evaluation of Cross-Border Cases:
Conducting comprehensive legal evaluations of cross-border cases and setups, including virtual assignments, to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
* Cross-Border Tax and Legal Compliance:
Managing the tax implications of cross-border work, including coordination with tax consultants, and ensuring compliance with national and international tax laws. E.g. Double Taxation Agreements (DTAs), EU SV-VO, OECD transfer pricing guidelines, GDPR, immigration
* Development and Implementation of Group-Wide Policies and Standards:
Designing, developing, and implementing group-wide standards, guidelines, and policies (E.g. Global Mobility, Remote Work, Fit&Proper), ensuring alignment with key stakeholders such as legal, tax, and compliance teams.
* Data Management, Reporting, and Stakeholder Advisory:
Maintaining accurate records and data on global mobility, generating reports for decision-making, and providing expert advice to senior management and other stakeholders.
* Global Hiring Process Management:
Support the Talent Acquisition team and different stakeholders in navigating various options, finding the best legal solutions, and subsequently coordinating the different stakeholders in the countries.
* Audit Preparation and Support:
Preparing for and providing support during internal and external audits, ensuring that all documentation and processes meet the required standards and regulations.
What we expect:
* Educational Background:
A bachelor degree in Law, Human Resources, Business Administration, International Relations, or a related field. A master's degree in a similar field can be advantageous.
* Professional Experience:
Several years of experience in global mobility, human resources, legal or a related field, with specific experience in managing international assignments and relocations.
Proven track record in dealing with immigration, tax compliance, and legal aspects of global mobility.
* Knowledge of International Employment Laws
A thorough understanding of international labor laws, visa requirements, and tax regulations across various jurisdictions.
* Strong Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively between different stakeholders, including senior management, HR teams, and employees.
* Technological Proficiency:
Familiarity with HRIS systems and global mobility software, as well as general competency in office software and tools.
* Language Skills:
Proficiency in English and German is essential, and knowledge of additional CEE languages is highly beneficial.
