Field Service Technician – Installation & Commissioning
(full-time 38.5 hours/week)

Your tasks:
As a member of the Service Team, you will be responsible for performing service tasks for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in the field. These tasks include installation & commissioning, maintenance, repairs, system configuration and customer training — both at customer sites and remotely — while ensuring compliance with applicable health and safety standards.
You will also share responsibility for remote support at the Battery Operations Centre in Wiener Neudorf for our global customers (e.g., USA, Europe, South Africa, Australia etc.) as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams such as project management, production, R&D, and logistics.
Your profile:
* Completed technical education (HTL/apprenticeship/technical college) in electrical engineering/mechatronics
* Several years of field experience in service, installation and/or commissioning in industrial environments
* Technical understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
* PLC or BESS experience would be an advantage
* Strong interest in learning flow battery technology
* Customer orientation and problem-solving skills
* Working as part of a team, as well as independent
* Very good MS-Office knowledge
* Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
* Willingness to travel worldwide (approx. 30%, up to 3 weeks/travel)
* Must comply with all US immigration requirements for ESTA or visa entry
* Valid driving licence (B class)
* Valid work permit (Austria) or EU citizenship
