Overview

Join Glory EV Group, the premier partner for BYD, the world’s leading manufacturer of new energy vehicles. As we continue to dominate the electric vehicle (EV) market, we are looking for a high-performance Fleet Business Development Manager to spearhead our corporate and SME growth across Australia.


About the Role

This is a hunter-focused role designed for a proactive closer who can identify, target, and secure new business opportunities for Glory EV Group. You will be responsible for transitioning traditional corporate fleets to BYD’s innovative EV range, leveraging our cutting-edge technology and Glory EV’s specialized commitment to a zero-emission future.


Key Responsibilities

* Drive New Business: Identify and engage high-potential corporate clients and SMEs to integrate BYD vehicles into their fleets via the Glory EV network.
* Consultative Selling: Use your expertise in Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), FBT exemptions, and vehicle taxation to demonstrate the financial and environmental value of the BYD range.
* Pipeline Management: Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, from initial cold outreach and prospecting to contract negotiation and closing.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with leasing companies, finance partners, and the Glory EV internal teams to deliver tailored fleet solutions.
* Brand Ambassador: Represent the Glory EV brand and BYD at national trade fairs, industry events, and high-level corporate presentations.


What You Bring

* Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven success in fleet sales, B2B automotive business development, or fleet leasing.
* Expertise: Deep understanding of the Australian fleet industry, including residual value forecasting, lifecycle management, and CRM systems.
* Mindset: An entrepreneurial "hunter" mentality with a track record of consistently exceeding sales targets in competitive markets.
* Skills: Strong commercial acumen, exceptional negotiation skills, and a genuine passion for sustainable transport and EV infrastructure.
