Key Responsibilities:
1. Apply Lean methodologies such as 5S, Kaizen, JIT delivery, labor balancing, capacity studies, time & motion studies, and value stream mapping.
2. Utilize AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project management tools for facility and process design and optimization.
3. Conduct in-depth root cause analyses using tools like process mapping, Cause-Effect diagrams, and Pareto analysis.
4. Implement Lean analysis tools including Line Balancing, PFEP, Pull systems, Standardized Work, Process FMEAs, and Control Plans.
5. Evaluate and update headcount and labor models to identify optimization opportunities and provide actionable reports to stakeholders.
6. Develop and improve plant/process layouts to enhance efficiency in space, equipment, and labor usage.
7. Collaborate with departments including IT, Engineering, and Operations to maintain and prioritize the improvement project pipeline.
8. Directly support larger strategic and customer initiative projects as needed.
9. Participate in phase gate reviews to ensure compliance with project standards and governance.
10. Track financial benefits and ensure BPI projects contribute to organizational targets.
11. Maintain accurate project tracking and reporting in relevant systems.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
13. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
14. Proven experience with process improvement and root-cause analysis tools.
15. Experience in solutions design within logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing environments.
16. Ability to engage stakeholders across cross-functional and matrixed organizations.
17. Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
18. Willingness and flexibility to travel up to 80% regionally/internationally.
Preferred:
19. Master’s degree in a relevant field.
20. Certification in MOST or MTM.
21. Lean Six Sigma or equivalent Quality certification.
22. Experience with supply chain systems such as WMS, TMS, OMS, or SCM.
23. Hands-on experience working with plant, site, or business unit teams.
