Job Description
We are seeking a molecular biology technician with hands‑on experience in sequencing technologies. The ideal candidate will be proficient in cutting‑edge molecular biology techniques, including DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, and sequencing workflows (e.g., Oxford Nanopore, Illumina, or similar platforms). Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and a passion for innovation in genomics are essential.
Responsibilities
* Molecular biology tasks
* DNA sequencing (e.g., Oxford Nanopore)
* Management of user data
* Procurement and disposal of consumables and chemicals
* Data analysis and report preparation
Required Qualifications
* High school diploma (Matura) or equivalent qualification
* Training as a Technical Assistant (TA), Medical Technical Assistant (MTA), or Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), or equivalent education
* Skills in molecular biology (e.g., DNA/RNA extraction, PCR)
* Willingness to work in the mornings (starting at 8:00 AM) is desirable
* Teamwork skills
* Ability to work independently
* Organizational talent
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with DNA sequencing (e.g., Oxford Nanopore)
