Join our Turbo Generator team in Weiz as a Technical Proposal & Sales Engineer (f/m/d) and take on a key role in supporting international service projects with your technical and commercial expertise.
YOUR PROFILE
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent hands-on industry experience
* Knowledge of rotating equipment (esp. synchronous generators) is a plus
* Strong commercial and technical acumen
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Team player with a collaborative approach
* Fluency in English (spoken & written) is mandatory & solid German skills
* Open mindset, able to work effectively with different cultures
* Team player with an analytical mindset and attention to detail
* Highly motivated, ambitious, and eager to grow within the organization
* Experience with CRM (Salesforce preferred) and ERP (SAP preferred)
* Travel internationally up to 20–30% post-onboarding
YOUR TASKS
* Develop technical and commercial offers for service projects (overhauls, upgrades, LTSAs)
* Define scope of work based on customer needs, equipment condition, and internal capabilities
* Leading the full tendering process: from cost calculation to final proposal submission
* Present and negotiate solutions with international clients
* Collaborate with engineering, field service, procurement, and workshop teams
* Maintain proposal tools, pricing databases, and templates
* Analyze market trends and contribute to strategic account planning
* Support project handovers and long-term service agreements
We are legally obliged to state the collective bargaining minimum salary for this position, which is gross € 3.665,31 per month. However, we offer a market-based salary depending on qualifications and professional experience in any case.
