Finance Manager
A national, multi-entity organisation operating in the human services sector is seeking a highly capable Senior Finance Manager to join its Executive leadership team.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for an emerging finance executive with strong financial accounting oversight experience, who is ready to take responsibility for key financial functions and contribute to organisational performance.
The Opportunity Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Finance Manager will provide financial leadership across the organisation, with responsibility for ensuring accurate reporting, effective cashflow management, and operational financial oversight.
Leading financial accounting across a multi-entity organisation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting
Managing cashflow planning and liquidity to support operational and strategic priorities
Oversight of financial accounting, cashflow management and accounts payable
Partnering with executive leaders to provide financial insights that support operational decision-making
Monitoring and optimising operating costs to maintain efficiency and financial sustainability
Driving the budgeting and forecasting process, supporting organisational planning
Strengthening internal controls, financial policies, and governance frameworks
Leading and mentoring the finance team to build a high-performing and engaged function
About You You are an experienced finance professional with strong financial accounting, cashflow management, and people leadership skills. You thrive on managing financial processes across multiple business units and are looking to broaden your experience in operational and strategic finance.
You will ideally bring:
Strong experience in financial accounting, cashflow management, and accounts payable oversight
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a finance team
Sound understanding of governance, reporting, and compliance requirements
Interest in developing broader commercial and strategic finance capabilities over time
Professional finance qualifications such as CA, CPA or equivalent
Experience in human services, healthcare, disability, or not-for-profit sectors is highly regarded but not essential.
