The University for Continuing Education Krems specializes in part-time academic continuing education. The following position is available to strengthen our team of the Department for Legal Studies and International Business at the Faculty of Business and Globalisation:

The Centre for Entrepreneurial Sustainability plays a central role in this: it understands sustainability holistically and as a multidimensional and context-sensitive topic: economic, ecological and social aspects are taken into account, as are the cultural, historical and psychological dimensions of companies – from social sustainability discourses and behavioural economic decision‑making logic to questions of entrepreneurial well‑being and long‑term performance. Through its research, the centre provides guidance and new perspectives for responsible entrepreneurship that creates long‑term value and enables change.
* Participation in research projects in the field of ‘corporate sustainability’
* Scientific publishing and participation in relevant national and international conferences
* Lecturing – e.g. expert input at events and, if necessary, teaching courses in the field of ‘corporate sustainability’
* Participation in the development of innovative continuing education programmes in the field of ‘corporate sustainability’
* Support in establishing the Centre for ‘Corporate Sustainability’ and taking on administrative tasks
* Support in the organisation of research projects
* Interdisciplinary cooperation in research (and possibly teaching) in the field of ‘corporate sustainability’
Your profile
We require evidence of the following qualifications for the application:
* Completed university degree (Master's/Diploma) in economics or another subject related to economic or business issues
* Interest in interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary collaboration at the interface between science, business and society
* Interest in research in the field of ‘entrepreneurial sustainability’ and a fundamental willingness to complete a doctoral programme
* Excellent German language skills (at least C1) and very good English language skills (at least B2) in both written and spoken form
* Proven ability to work independently on projects
* Initial experience demonstrating a fundamental understanding of entrepreneurial requirements (e.g. practical experience in companies, independent implementation of own projects)
In addition, the following criteria are desirable:
* Initial experience in research and/or publishing in the above-mentioned areas, e.g. through participation in research projects or publications
* Ongoing or planned dissertation project in the field of ‘corporate sustainability’
* Initial experience in lecturing and/or teaching (university or non‑university) and/or supervising students
* Strong communication and teamwork skills

* Part- or full-time (20-40 hours/week) initially limited to 30 April 2030
