Marketing & Communications Manager – The Ritz-Carlton, Vienna, Austria. Full‑time management position located at Schubertring 5-7, Vienna.
Key Responsibilities
* Champion the brand promise of The Ritz‑Carlton by ensuring all marketing and communications reflect the highest standards of excellence, storytelling and emotional connection.
* Develop and execute a comprehensive Marketing & Communications strategy that strengthens the hotel’s positioning and drives revenue across all segments.
* Ensure consistency of brand voice, visual identity and messaging across all guest touchpoints, in alignment with brand standards.
* Lead the creation and curation of refined digital and print materials, with a focus on showcasing rooms, food and beverage and unique guest experiences.
* Direct all Public Relations activities, cultivating strong relationships with local and international media to enhance the hotel’s reputation.
* Serve as the primary contact for media and communications, ensuring all interactions reflect professionalism, discretion and brand integrity.
* Identify storytelling opportunities that bring the property’s unique character to life.
* Oversee the hotel’s digital presence, including website and OTA platforms, ensuring content is inspiring, accurate and optimised.
* Guide and host media visits, influencer collaborations and brand experiences.
* Monitor market trends, guest insights and media coverage to proactively identify opportunities and elevate brand presence.
* Foster strong collaboration with Sales, Revenue and operational teams to ensure alignment with the hotel’s strategic priorities.
* Manage agency partners and ensure all deliverables meet brand expectations and quality standards.
Required Qualifications & Profile

* Proven ability to develop and execute strategic marketing and communications plans within a luxury environment.
* Strong proficiency in marketing, digital and design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, CMS platforms, Microsoft Office).
* Analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into impactful actions.
* Inspiring team player with the ability to lead initiatives and influence across departments.
* Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for building meaningful relationships.
* Deep understanding of luxury hospitality and culturally diverse environments.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a refined sense of tone and storytelling.
* Fluency in German and English; additional languages are an advantage.
* Confidence in managing media relations and representing the brand with professionalism and discretion.

The statutory gross minimum remuneration for this position, based on full‑time employment, is €2 492,00 per month. A higher salary may be offered depending on your qualifications and experience.
