A pioneering NewSpace company is seeking an Avionics Development Engineer to join their mission-focused team developing green, high-performance propulsion systems for satellites and orbital platforms. If you're excited by rapid prototyping, innovative thruster tech, and hands-on hardware design, this could be your next big leap.
You’ll take ownership of avionics hardware design and verification, collaborating closely with propulsion teams and suppliers. Expect plenty of prototyping, testing, and real-world problem solving.
Your mission will include:
* Designing and analyzing avionics flight hardware and EGSE
* Selecting and sourcing key electrical components
* Leading hardware qualification and verification test campaigns
* Prototyping and breadboarding novel PCB architectures
* Working with industry standards and internal development processes
Ideal profile:
* Degree in EE, Mechatronics, Aerospace, or equivalent (or self-taught with experience)
* 1+ year professional experience, or significant hands-on leadership in student engineering teams
* PCB design and analysis expertise
* ECAD skills (e.g., KiCAD)
* Wire harness assembly (soldering, crimping)
* Experience debugging, testing, and integrating hardware
Bonus if you bring:
* Software/firmware or FPGA skills
* Aerospace industry or space hardware experience
* Familiarity with space-grade design standards
Why join?
* Work on first-of-its-kind deep-throttle propulsion systems
* Shape hardware used in global missions
* Lunch covered daily, free transit, and stock options
* Flexible working time and a strong DE&I culture
Apply now to be part of a tight-knit team rethinking in-space mobility. This is your chance to help shape the next era of orbital transport technology.
