The commercial project manager is responsible for the commercial processing of customer orders in cooperation with the technical project manager and related departments. He analyzes the monthly cost reports (MIKA) with regard to deviations with the technical project manager and communicates recommendations for action to the management with the clear aim of avoiding unnecessary costs.
TASKS
* Overall commercial responsibility for plant construction projects
* Preparation and tracking of project budgets, cost and liquidity plans
* Contract review and management (customers, suppliers, subcontractors)
* Supporting technical project managers with claims and addendum management
* Supporting project controlling with target/actual comparisons and forecasts
* Analyzing cost deviations and reporting to management
* Accounting, payment monitoring, and coordination with Finance & Accounting
* Identifying commercial risks and developing appropriate countermeasures
PROFILE
* Completed commercial or economic studies or comparable qualification
* Several years of professional experience in project controlling or project management, ideally in plant or mechanical engineering
* Very good knowledge of contract, cost, and project controlling
* Good knowledge of MS Office, SAP, or ERP
* Very good German and English skills

The minimum gross annual base salary according to the collective agreement (Metalworking industry) for full-time employment is € 54,506.
