Site Manager- Pharmaceutical Packaging
Location: Mt Druitt
What You’ll Be Doing (besides drinking coffee)
* Craft production plans that actually work (and deliver them on time).
* Lead your team and ensure staff are trained, qualified, and ready to shine.
* Keep the goods flowing—no bottlenecks, no wastage, just smooth sailing.
* Make sure every product meets TGA & GMP standards (because “near enough” isn’t good enough).
* Spot non‑compliant products faster than a hawk and deal with them properly.
* Write work instructions that people actually understand.
* Manage stock, receivals, despatch, and the occasional stocktake without breaking a sweat.
* Keep tools, jigs, fixtures, and machinery humming happily.
* Liaise with customers like the pro you are.
* Champion safety, housekeeping, and compliance with AQTF, ISO 9001:2015, HACCP, and more acronyms than you can shake a stick at.
* Keep an eagle eye on budgets and business plans.
What We’re Looking For
* Formal TGA/HACCP training (or solid on‑the‑job experience).
* WHS certified training.
* Experience in pharmaceutical packaging (primary & secondary) with a love for compliance.
* Knowledge of GMP standards and clean room requirements.
* Leadership chops—you know how to get the best out of people.
* Financial control and line set‑up experience.
* Safety awareness that goes beyond “wear your hi‑vis.”
* Knowledge of Navision or similar program would be advantageous.
Your Toolkit
* Mechanical aptitude (you know your way around machines).
* People management skills (you can motivate, mentor, and manage).
* Computer savvy (Outlook, Excel, Project, Word).
* Negotiation and problem‑solving skills.
* Strong communication—written and verbal.
* A knack for spotting efficiencies and making things better.
