Your Responsibilities
* Autonomous research and publication activities in the field of economics
* Participation in existing research projects and development of new research projects in the field of economic policy and related fields
* Participation in the application process for third-party funded projects
* Independent teaching of courses and conducting of examinations in the field of economics, in particular economic policy, but also in other fields depending on the needs of department
* Professional and organizational supervision of students
* Participation in organizational and administrative tasks such as organization of seminars/workshops as well as in evaluation measures
* Assistance with the supervision of doctoral students
Your Profile
* Completed doctorate/PhD in the area of Social Sciences or Economics
* Publications in internationally peer-reviewed journals as well as participation in international congresses in the field of economic policy and related fields
* Experience in working on externally funded research projects
* Teaching experience in economic policy and related fields
* Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
* Good knowledge of written and spoken German (desirable)
* Very good IT skills
* Enjoyment of scientific work and working with students
* Independent and goal-oriented working style
* Ability to work in interdisciplinary teams

We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 69,060.59 for a fulltime position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.
