The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
We are looking for a Clinical Specialist to support the adoption and clinical success of our Advanced Wound Care portfolio in hospitals. You will partner with multidisciplinary clinical teams to drive best‑practice implementation, deliver hands‑on education, support evaluations, and provide post‑implementation follow‑up to ensure safe use, strong outcomes, and high customer satisfaction. This role works closely with Sales, Marketing, Medical/Clinical Affairs, and Quality teams in a regulated environment. Clinical Specialist will be responsible for Czech, Slovakian, and Hungarian markets and cooperation with HCPs and Sales Teams.
* Lead clinical onboarding and implementation for advanced wound care solutions across relevant departments (surgery, orthopedics, vascular, diabetology, ICU, internal medicine, outpatient wound clinics).
* Conduct wound care pathway and workflow assessments (referral routes, dressing selection, documentation routines) and recommend practical improvements aligned with hospital standards.
* Deliver hands‑on training and in‑services for nurses, wound care teams, surgeons, physicians, and allied staff on appropriate product selection and correct application.
* Provide on‑site/remote clinical support during trials, conversions, and go‑lives to ensure safe and effective use.
* Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders: wound care nurses/specialists, tissue viability teams, surgeons, diabetology/vascular teams, procurement, pharmacy/materials management, and hospital quality teams.
* Support the development and delivery of educational materials: protocols, dressing guides, competency checklists, and clinical FAQs.
* Facilitate workshops and clinical case discussions; tailor communication to different audiences and levels of clinical expertise.
Your Skills And Expertise
* Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing, Public Health, Paramedic or related experience.
* Clinical background: Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent (preferred), or allied health/scientific degree with strong wound care practice exposure.
* 3+ years in hospital clinical practice and/or MedTech clinical specialist role; strong exposure to wound care (surgical wounds, pressure injuries, diabetic foot, venous leg ulcers).
* Excellent training and facilitation skills; confident presenting to nursing and physician audiences.
* Comfortable working in operating rooms/wards and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
* Willingness to travel within territory (often 50–80% depending on role design).
* Fluent English (and Czech, Slovakian, Hungarian as a plus).
* Current, valid Driver’s License.
Additional Qualifications
* Formal wound care qualification/certification (e.g., tissue viability, wound ostomy continence, or local equivalent).
* Experience with advanced modalities such as NPWT, antimicrobial dressings, bioactive/silicone dressings, debridement‑support products, or compression therapy.
* Experience supporting tenders, formularies, value analysis committees, or hospital conversions.
* Familiarity with clinical documentation standards and pathways (e.g., wound assessment tools, staging/classification).
Work Location
Remote within Austria.
Travel
May include up to 80% international.
Legal Authorization
Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.
The minimum salary (fixed and variable components) for this position is €63,500 gross per annum, with the possibility of higher remuneration depending on your qualifications and professional experience.
