Erste Asset Management coordinates and is responsible for all asset management activities of Erste Group and is in charge of assets amounting to more than EUR 102 billion. More than 500 employees develop and manage investment solutions for our investors in 7 different countries. We launched the first environmental fund in Austria more than 25 years ago - at a time when the topic was still a niche. Today, we manage more than EUR 35 billion in sustainability (as of 31.10.2025) and place sustainability at the heart of our business activities.
Risk Management is responsible for measuring and monitoring all product-specific risks in investment funds and portfolios. Typically, this includes market risks (Value at Risk, stress tests, etc.), liquidity risks, and credit risks. In addition to product-specific risks, operational risks are also measured and managed.
Within the Operational Risk and Process Management department, potential damages arising from IT systems, processes, and human error are analyzed and mitigated by implementing appropriate measures (e.g., suitable controls, training).
Your background
8. A-Level (Matura) and/or completed apprenticeship in the banking sector
9. experience in operational risk and process management is an advantage
10. comprehensive understanding of various asset classes and markets or strong interest in securities
11. excellent German and English language skills
12. solid knowledge of MS Office (especially Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
13. experience with ARIS software is desirable
14. knowledge of POWER BI and SQL are an advantage
15. strong team player
