Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
In your new role, you are part of an international automotive engineering team at our site in Villach.
* Support research work on statistical topics in semiconductor design and manufacturing
* Drive automotive innovation topics and support funding opportunities
* Take over the technical lead role within internationally funded projects
* Be responsible for the project reporting
* Maintain and develop statistical tools
* Support other departments regarding statistics related tasks
* Possible work in standardization bodies

* A university degree (Master/PhD) in Data Science, Statistics, or Physics
* 5+ years professional working experience in technical area
* Experience in automotive and/or semiconductor industry
* Strong theoretical mathematical background and publication record
* Programming skills (Matlab, R, etc.)
* Willingness to travel
* Excellent English skills, German optional
We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G ). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
