Your Tasks
End-to-end ownership of assigned IT category (e.g. IT Services, SaaS & Software, Infrastructure)
Act as strategic architect and knowledge hub for the category across the group
Define, own, and evolve the category strategy and roadmap (incl. make/buy, sourcing models, vendor tiers)
Consolidate group-wide demand and actively manage the supplier landscape
Govern strategic sourcing activities and major RFPs
Lead complex and high-value RFPs and negotiations
Enable and guide strategic procurement execution across the organization
Manage strategic suppliers and framework agreements
Define standards, preferred vendors, and contract principles
Identify savings, value creation, and risk mitigation levers
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Law, or a related field and strong expertise in IT categories (IT Services, Software, Infrastructure)
Strong strategic sourcing and negotiation capabilities
Proven experience in managing complex, high-value sourcing initiatives
Strong stakeholder management skills at business and IT leadership level
Ability to align and influence senior stakeholders across the organization
Strong analytical and financial expertise (e.g. TCO, business cases)
Experience in supplier and contract management
Structured, strategic, and value-oriented mindset
Ability to act as a central knowledge hub and drive best practices
Leadership and influence without formal authority
Very good English skills; German skills are an advantage

The annual gross salary (full-time) for the position is at least EUR 55.356,--. Do you have extensive experience and expertise? If so, we're happy to offer a salary above this amount in recognition of your qualifications.
