For an internationally active, technology-driven investment firm in Vienna, we are building a highly selective in-house research function focused on identifying the top 0.1% of quantitative talent globally.
This is not a traditional HR role.
This is a high-precision research position requiring analytical sharpness, intellectual rigor and uncompromising standards.
What You Will Do
* Identify and engage exceptional quantitative researchers, PhDs and top-tier analysts (EU / US)
* Rigorously analyze CVs with investment-level precision
* Rank and filter candidates under strict excellence criteria
* Build long-term pipelines with strong Vienna / EU retention logic
* Work closely with the investment team to understand performance drivers
* Develop sourcing strategies beyond standard LinkedIn outreach
What We Are Looking For
* Research-heavy recruiting background or
* Finance / Quant background with exposure to talent selection
* Exceptional attention to detail (you spot inconsistencies immediately)
* Strong pattern recognition (institutional quality, academic pedigree, brand relevance)
* Decisiveness under time pressure
* Ownership mindset & intellectual curiosity
