You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that drive operational excellence, guide investment decisions, and enhance the overall efficiency of our facilities.
How You’ll Make An Impact
* Lead the Industrial Engineering organization in the Medium Power Transformers Europe cluster at our plants in Dresden, Linz, and Trento.
* Define strategies, principles, investment plans, maintenance plans and guidelines for our plants and ensure their consistent implementation
* Make decisions on investment budget allocation within the Cluster and monitor the implementation
* Support the Lean organization by developing a robust process framework and continuous improvements
* Regularly communicate with senior management and employees about strategy and implementation to ensure alignment and transparency
* Identify training and mentoring needs, monitor the development of training programs, and support continuous professional development
What You Bring
* A degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related technical/engineering field
* Extensive experience in industrial engineering or a similar leadership role, preferably within an engineer-to-order business
* Experience in the power transformers industry is a plus
* Strong expertise in Lean Management and project management, with proven implementation skills
* High analytical skills, initiative, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams in an international environment
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with fluency in both German and English

At Siemens Energy we offer competitive compensation and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. Due to the Austrian legal regulations, we are obliged to state the minimum salary for this position. Please note that there is a clear willingness for a higher compensation considering your individual expectations, expertise and skills. The minimum salary for this position in the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry is in the amount of 79.204,72 € gross/year for a full-time position.
