This is a position focused on shaping and delivering SOC and SIEM services for a leading international insurance group, with emphasis on digital transformation, cybersecurity, and ongoing improvement.
Responsibilities
* Drive the strategic planning and continuous development of the SOC and SIEM service strategy aligned with security requirements and compliance standards.
* Manage the full lifecycle of SOC/SIEM services, including design, implementation, operation, and ongoing maintenance to ensure high availability and performance.
* Lead technical projects to introduce and enhance SOC and SIEM functionalities and technologies.
* Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and trends in the SOC/SIEM landscape to improve service efficiency and meet evolving customer needs.
* Define, monitor, and ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to guarantee service quality.
* Collaborate closely with internal competence centers and external customers to capture requirements and tailor service delivery accordingly.
* Communicate regularly with customers about service status, security events, and ongoing improvements to build trust and maintain strong relationships.
* Create and present comprehensive reports on service performance, KPIs, and security incidents for management and clients.
* Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure smooth operation and continuous improvement of SOC services.
The Successful Applicant
* Proven experience in managing and leading SOC and SIEM services, ideally within complex, multi-tenant or international environments.
* Strong technical knowledge of SOC/SIEM systems, cybersecurity frameworks, and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001).
* Demonstrated ability to drive IT projects and coordinate expert teams with a customer-focused mindset.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with both technical teams and senior stakeholders internationally.
* Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, able to perform well under pressure.
* Fluent in English; proficiency in German is an advantage.
* A proactive, collaborative, and results-oriented approach, with a passion for continuous learning and innovation.
