Job Description
In your new role you will be responsible for:
* Functional operation, optimization and further development of the state-of-the-art NFC and UWB characterization setups and precision instruments
* Execution predefined electrical and/or mechanical measurements on NFC and UWB devices
* Interface of laboratory equipment with controlling software
* Post-processing and documentation of experimental results using available frameworks
* Analysis and interpretation of acquired data
* Exploring new ideas and innovative approaches of advanced testing to enhance quality and reliability of our products
* Handle troubleshooting of technical issues and identify solutions

Type of employment: Temporary / Part-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
Duration: min. 12 months
Your Profile
You successfully meet the requirements if you are a motivated and committed student from the field of Telematics/ICE, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Applied Engineering or similar. You are best equipped for this task if you additionally offer:
* Hands-on lab experience in a research or technology chair, R&D department, or through study and course projects
* Understanding about NFC and/or UWB technology and/or experience with measurement equipment in a lab environment
* Passion about tackling multidisciplinary challenges that involve electronics, measurements, analysis
* Familiarity with programming languages such as Matlab and Python, or willingness to learn new tools
* A systematic and self-driven working style, oriented to problem solving, and willing to learn and enjoy working in a team
* Good English skills in speaking and writing
This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry.
