Tulon Photonics is a high-tech startup developing ultra-stable, tunable laser sources with breakthrough noise-reduction performance. The technology enables a fundamentally new way to minimize frequency noise—unlocking game-changing potential for quantum technologies, precision metrology, and industrial applications.
Tulon Photonics is currently in its pre-seed stage. The mission is to translate scientific excellence into commercially scalable products and a global business platform — with you as a driving entrepreneurial force from day one.
As CEO & Co-Founder, you take full entrepreneurial ownership. You lead Tulon from company formation through product development, fundraising, and market launch.
This is your field of responsibility …
* Develop and execute the company and product strategy
* Lead all fundraising activities (pre‑seed, seed, and further rounds)
* Build, lead, and empower a strong interdisciplinary founding team
* Work closely with the CTO and scientific experts to ensure market‑driven product development
* Identify and develop early customer and industry partnerships
* Represent Tulon Photonics to investors, partners, and the broader innovation community
This is what you provide …
* Proven leadership experience in a startup or entrepreneurial environment, ideally in deep tech or hardware
* Background in photonics, optics, or advanced engineering technologies
* Experience in fundraising (venture capital, grants, public funding)
* Ability to translate scientific innovations into commercial applications
* Strategic thinker with strong hands‑on execution
* Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus
* Experience scaling hardware or photonics‑based products
* Strong network in the European or global deep‑tech ecosystem
