The Center for Vision, Automation & Control (VAC) supports companies with intelligent automation and digitalization solutions and assists in implementing the digitalization strategy and the European Green Deal. For our Vienna location, we are looking for:
FUNDING MANAGEMENT AND RESEARCH SUPPORT (F/M/D)
 * Following a structured induction period, you will advise and support our scientists in acquiring third-party funding. You will identify relevant national and European funding programs and actively assist in the search for funding opportunities.
 * You will conduct individual consultations, assist in the preparation of project proposals, carry out reviews, and accompany the entire application process through to submission.
 * Focus on the targeted preparation of information on funding programs and calls for proposals, and the development of practical guidelines and templates to facilitate the application process.
 * Support the monitoring and analysis of our research center’s participation in funding programs.
 * Represent the center at events organized by relevant funding agencies, maintain contact with national and international funding agencies, and establish targeted contacts with potential industry partners.
 * Work with colleagues from the departments and Business Development to develop new research and innovation projects and support the formation of viable national and European consortia, positioning AIT’s key technologies in relevant networks and with stakeholders.
Your qualifications as an Ingenious Partner
 * A university degree, ideally with a technical background
 * Interest in national and European funding systems and experience in funding management, science management, or research administration
 * Interest in working with intelligent automation and digitization solutions
 * Structured, solution-oriented approach with personal responsibility and a hands-on mentality
 * Strong communication skills and enjoyment of working with researchers in an interdisciplinary environment
 * Enthusiasm, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team
 * Openness to complex tasks and high flexibility in a dynamic research environment
 * Very good MS Office skills and willingness to learn internal company tools
 * Very good written and spoken German and English skills or willingness to learn German
What to expect
 * The gross annual salary on a full-time basis (38.5 h/week) according to the collective agreement is EUR 66,598. The actual salary will be determined individually based on qualifications and experience.
