Responsibilities
* Take ownership of driving commercial growth in Austria by expanding our footprint in the e‑mobility ecosystem.
* Position vaylens backend platform as a key enabler for efficient and scalable operation of EV charging infrastructure across various sectors.
* Identify and capitalize on market trends, customer needs and regulatory developments within the Austrian e‑mobility landscape.
* Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders including business leaders, public and private infrastructure operators and strategic partners.
* Lead the entire sales cycle: from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and closing with a focus on long‑term partnerships.
* Drive revenue growth through strategic account development, upselling and expansion into new use cases and customer segments.
* Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through proactive account management, escalation handling and solution alignment.
* Maintain a well‑organized pipeline using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), keeping all activities and touchpoints well‑documented.
* Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams such as Product, Marketing, Customer Success and Finance to deliver tailored solutions and customer value in Austria.
Qualifications
* Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics or a comparable discipline.
* 35 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in SaaS, e‑mobility, energy or infrastructure‑related industries.
* Proven track record in managing complex sales processes and building relationships with enterprise or public‑sector clients.
* Deep understanding of the Austrian market and its business culture, ideally with an existing network in relevant sectors.
* Strong organizational skills, independence and a proactive hands‑on approach to driving business.
* Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and a data‑driven mindset when it comes to sales prioritization and forecasting.
* Fluent German (native level) and strong English skills, both written and spoken.
* Based in Austria and willing to travel to meet clients and attend industry events as needed.
