About the role

We're seeking a Graduate Mine Accountant to join our Commercial team at our Cobar operation, providing support to both Peak and Federation sites. This is an on‑site, residential opportunity for someone who has recently graduated and wants real exposure, strong foundations and the chance to develop within a complex mining environment.
You'll gain broad exposure across our Cobar Basin operations, learning how accounting supports production, projects and site decisions, while developing practical capability in mining accounting methods, standards and systems.
You will be part of a friendly, easy‑going Commercial team that values clarity, structure and support. Learning is intentional, questions are encouraged, and development is taken seriously.
Roster: 5 days on / 2 days off, 4 days on / 3 days off (9 hours per day)
Location: Peak Gold Mine, Cobar NSW
Duration: 2‑year fixed‑term program
Qualifications and experience
* Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor or equivalent)
* Graduated within the last 12-24 months
* Must be detail‑oriented and possess a strong desire to grow in mining finance
* Current resident or willing to relocate to Cobar
* Must be an Australian citizen or hold full work rights in Australia
* Must be eager to learn, succeed, and grow in their career
* Contributes positively to a successful, effective, and supportive team environment
* Able to handle challenges, deadlines, and change with a positive attitude
