We are currently seeking a full-time Social Media & Community Specialist in Vienna or Toronto. In this role, you will grow our online community, elevate our brand voice, and build authentic connections with creators, travelers, and partners. You’ll manage platforms, drive engagement, track performance, and bring the TourRadar story online.
Your Responsibilities
* Shape TourRadar’s social growth by managing content pillars, experimenting with formats, and expanding our creator and partner community.
* Manage and grow our organic social channels with compelling, on-brand content.
* Lead content planning and publishing across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and emerging channels.
* Support and scale the TourRadar Ambassador Program by collaborating with creators and sharing assets and messaging.
* Work with email and CRM teams for ambassador outreach and retention strategies.
* Collaborate with design, brand, partnerships, and paid media teams to ensure consistent messaging.
* Track social performance using dashboards (e.g., Lookr) to optimize engagement and inform strategies.
* Conduct social listening to monitor travel and adventure trends and conversations.
* Coordinate promotions with affiliates and ambassadors to maximize reach and campaign success.
* Assist in developing short-form content ideas and participate in production/editing workflows.
What You’ll Need
* 2-4 years of experience in social media or digital marketing, preferably in travel, lifestyle, or e-commerce.
* Strong understanding of major platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok) and content performance nuances.
* Experience with social media tools like scheduling platforms, dashboards, and content management systems.
* Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders.
* Strategic mindset with creativity and attention to detail.
* Self-starter attitude, willing to experiment, iterate, and grow.
* Experience working with creators or influencers is a plus.
* Interest and passion for travel and global cultures are highly valued.
