As a Strategic Purchaser, you will work on a global stage, shape international sourcing strategies, and negotiate long-term supplier partnerships built on trust and collaboration.

Your future area of responsibility
Responsibility for international procurement of individual parts, assemblies, components, and services in mechanical engineering
Continuous market monitoring and analysis to identify risks and opportunities
Independent price and terms negotiations with existing and new suppliers
Support with claims and supplier development with a focus on long-term partnerships
Identification and selection of potential suppliers as early as the design phase – close coordination with Engineering, Project Management, and Quality Management
Conducting TCO analyses and supporting make-or-buy decisions
Ongoing optimization of the internal inventory portfolio and operational order processing (SAP ERP)
Initiation and support of process and cost optimization initiatives
What you can inspire us with:
Completed degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or comparable qualification
Several years of experience in international procurement processes, strategic negotiations, supplier development, and make-or-buy analyses – ideally in international mechanical engineering
Experience in project management and confident handling of MS Office and SAP ERP
Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
Enjoyment of challenges and willingness to act flexibly in a growing company
Willingness to travel approx. 40% of the time
An analytical, communicative, and pragmatic personality with strategic thinking and a solution-oriented approach
