Banking Consultant, Gungahlin, 6.2
ANZ is looking for a Banking Consultant to deliver outstanding customer service in the Retail Banking division at the Gungahlin Market Place Shop 10, 12/30 Hibberson Street, Gungahlin ACT 2912 (Canberra). The role is a fixed-term (2 years) position with casual work hours.
What will your day look like?
* Provide a seamless banking experience by managing customer transactions and working with them to achieve end‑to‑end financial goals.
* Engage in needs‑based conversations and educate customers on financial solutions available, including digital offerings.
* Deliver a high standard of customer service to ensure customers are satisfied and become strong advocates for ANZ.
* Act as a role model and peer coach to support team performance and uphold the Customer Promises.
* Participate in and support bank programs and initiatives to improve customer engagement and advocacy.
* Maintain knowledge of risk perspectives and meet compliance requirements with ANZ and branch policies.
What will you bring?
* Exceptional customer focus – retail experience is an advantage.
* Experience as a user and promoter of technology, with working knowledge of different digital channels.
* Strong multitasking ability and adaptability to change and ambiguity.
* Willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Sound understanding of compliance frameworks.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
