Qualifications, Experience and Language skills
Qualified to practice medicine with a current licence (MD equivalent).
At least 15 years of progressive clinical/administrative experience, including 5 years working in an international setting. 
Minimum of 5 years practical experience in occupational health and a minimum of 3 years experience in travel medicine and international health.
Experience in dealing effectively with international headquarters and field staff, including high-ranking officials and delegates is an asset.
Previous UN medical system/international medical experience would be an asset.
Excellent oral and written command of English. Knowledge of other official IAEA languages (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Russian and Spanish) is an asset.
Remuneration
The IAEA offers an attractive remuneration package including a tax-free annual net base salary starting at US $116095 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance), a variable post adjustment which currently amounts to US $ 63272*, dependency benefits, rental subsidy, education grant, relocation and repatriation expenses; Other benefits include 6 weeks' annual leave, home leave travel, pension plan and health insurance.
