Head of treasury sales (m/f/d)

To further strengthen our Financial Markets franchise, we are looking for a commercially driven Head of Treasury Sales to lead and expand our treasury client business, build strategic relationships and drive revenue growth across corporate and institutional segments.
Your Responsibilities

Report directly to the Treasury Director and act as the senior commercial lead for Treasury Sales
Define and execute the Treasury Sales strategy across Austria and Germany
Build, lead and scale the Treasury Sales team in line with the bank’s strategic growth priorities
Own Treasury Sales revenues and be accountable for budget delivery, client penetration and product mix
Expand the bank’s relevance with large corporates, mid-cap exporters, importers, commodity-linked businesses and trading counterparties
Structure and deliver treasury risk management solutions across FX, interest rate and commodity hedging products
Originate and structure client opportunities together with Corporate Banking, Private Banking and Commodity Trade Finance teams
Establish a disciplined sales management framework including pipeline management, client prioritisation, revenue tracking and cross-sell governance
Drive the growth of the bank’s treasury client franchise across corporate and institutional segments
Work closely with Trading, ALM and Risk to deliver effective client solutions
Translate financial market developments into actionable client opportunities
Promote digital treasury platforms and electronic trading solutions
Ensure full compliance with MiFID II and all relevant regulatory requirements

What You Bring

University degree in Finance, Economics or a related field
10+ years of experience in Treasury Sales or Financial Markets client coverage
Strong hands‑on expertise in FX and interest rate hedging solutions
Proven ability to originate and execute corporate hedging mandates
Demonstrated track record in treasury revenue generation and client portfolio growth
Experience managing corporate or institutional client relationships
Leadership experience in building, developing or scaling high‑performing teams
Strong understanding of the interaction between treasury products, trade finance and corporate lending relationships
Ability to work effectively in a matrix organisation and influence senior stakeholders
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
Fluent English (German is considered an advantage)

Strong Plus

Experience with commodity hedging solutions
Exposure to commodity traders, importers, exporters or producers
Close collaboration with Commodity Trade Finance businesses
