Responsibilities
Independent planning, organization, and management of material development projects (focus on plastics) and compound development
Hands‑on work using plastic‑specific technical lab equipment (e.g. single‑screw extruder, co‑kneader, internal mixer for elastomers)
Development of new formulations and optimization of existing ones
Execution of projects in collaboration with suppliers, customers and R&D centers, as well as active expansion of an international expert network through committees, conferences and trade fairs
Designing, supervising, and mentoring thesis projects and internships
Theoretical evaluation and practical testing of innovative technologies in the plastics sector
Preparation and professional presentation of research and development results, both internally and externally
Your Tasks

Your Profile
Completed technical education (technical college/university of applied sciences/university) in materials science, plastics engineering, or organic chemistry
Ideally, professional or research experience in the field of polymers or materials
Fluent in German and English
Solution‑oriented, creative, and proactive mindset with a strong sense of curiosity
Reliable personality with clear and persuasive communication and reasoning skills
Strong analytical abilities and a structured way of working

Salary is based on your qualifications and experience and will be discussed personally. According to the collective agreement, the minimum salary is € 3.775,27 gross per month.
