In this newly created role as Team Lead Payroll (m/f/d), you will take responsibility for a dedicated and experienced team of five and ensure a smooth and error-free payroll process. You will be the central point of contact for all payroll-related matters and drive the optimization of our processes in our growing company.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Professional and organizational leadership of the established payroll team
* Ensuring timely and accurate monthly payroll processing (approx. 1,300 employees)
* Responsibility for compliance with legal/collective agreement regulations as well as internal policies
* Advisory role and point of contact for managers and internal stakeholders, as well as external authorities and service providers
* Optimization of processes and interfaces in the payroll area and active participation in IT projects
* Preparation of reports and reporting
* Support with international assignments
Requirements:
* Completed commercial education with payroll certification; additional training at the Payroll Academy is an advantage
* Several years of professional experience in payroll and ideally initial leadership responsibility
* Solid knowledge of labor, social security, and income tax law
* Structured, process- and solution-oriented working style
* Accuracy, resilience, discretion, and loyalty
* Team spirit and empathy
* Confident handling of common payroll systems – SAP preferred
* Good English and MS Office skills
