Requirements MSc (or BSc with substantial experience) in life sciences or related fields, or completed BMA/MTA education with significant experience in the field of cancer research and animal models At least 5 years of prior laboratory experience, including: Standard biochemical and molecular biology techniques, such as protein expression and purification (e.g. different antibody formats), evaluation of protein/antibody interactions, FACS and execution of enzymatic and cellular assays Standard cell culture techniques (BSL1/BSL2), including cultivation and expansion of primary human and mouse cells Work with mouse models; Felasa certification is an advantage Proactive and self-organized working style High level of accuracy and reliability Strong written and oral communication skills in English and German Additional beneficial qualifications: Prior experience in laboratory management Responsibilities Contributing to the planning and taking direct responsibility for conducting, analyzing, and documentating experiments Continuously developmenting and optimizing assays and methods Establishing, updating and improving work-related SOPs Supporting the processing of primary human and mouse material Participating in the organization and management of the laboratory to ensure smooth workflows, including ordering supllies, preparing reagents, and mantaining equipment functionality
