#GrowWhatMatters We’re hiring a Data Analyst to join Europe’s Seed Production & Supply Chain (SPSC) Data & Systems team. In this role you will bridge business users and technical delivery teams, translating operational needs into clear requirements and scalable data/system solutions. You will play a key role in defining Europe’s data and systems strategy, ensuring alignment with—and influencing—the broader GSO digital strategy to meet regional needs.
This role is pivotal in turning enterprise data into actionable insights and trusted reporting—supporting both day-to-day execution and longer-term performance improvement.
What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
Bridge users and technical teams (primary accountability)
Lead stakeholder discovery to capture needs, clarify problem statements, and translate them into functional requirements/user stories and acceptance criteria.
Partner with technical teams on solution design across integrations, data flows, and reporting—ensuring feasibility, scalability, and continuity.
Be hands‑on in implementing and developing solutions within the A4E platform, partnering with users and technical teams from design through deployment.
Drive testing and validation by designing test plans and supporting execution to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
Help define and execute Europe’s data & systems strategy.
Support prioritization of a regional roadmap and convert strategy into tangible deliveries (analytics, data products, process/system enablement).
Contribute to harmonized regional KPIs and measurement standards to monitor end‑to‑end SPSC performance.
Align with / influence GSO digital strategy.
Ensure Europe requirements are aligned to global standards where possible, and clearly articulated where regional constraints require adaptations—so global direction evolves to meet Europe needs.
Collaborate with other regions & bring best practices.
Collaborate with peers across regions to share best practices, reuse proven patterns, and accelerate delivery of business value.
Bring best practices into Europe delivery: governance, data quality controls, documentation, standard metrics, and scalable reporting patterns.
Deliver roadmap initiatives (examples; not exhaustive)
You will contribute to initiatives such as (examples from the Europe digital roadmap mapping):
Reporting migration to Power BI
Enterprise Architecture review (compliance with updated standards)
Data migration into a Data Lakehouse and ETL migration into Databricks
MPS enablement enablers (e.g., Lumigen declination, Material Level Demand)
Planning capabilities such as Harvest Plan and Conditioning Plan
Data‑centric capabilities like Data Quality & Certification Management, Recipes Management, and execution enablement topics (e.g., treaters automation, plant lab data management)
Trade / order visibility support (e.g., Trade Management, CTB and Sales Order Visibility)
Advanced analytics / AI‑enabled improvements (e.g., AI‑driven sequencing in line, AI‑driven input batch selection, signaling improvement, batch movements and release)
Drive change through training and adoption
Build documentation and user‑facing guidance for solutions (processes, data definitions, mappings) to support knowledge transfer and audit readiness.
Facilitate training and adoption so regional and local teams can confidently use standard reports and tools.
Support change management activities around deployments and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring (Required Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics).
Experience in analytics/reporting and data visualization; ability to translate data into business insight.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a data‑driven mindset.
Ability to work independently, prioritize under time constraints, and influence across functions/reporting lines.
Fluency in English; additional European language(s) are a plus.
Technical Skills
Proficiency with Power BI / Tableau and strong reporting/visualization practices.
Strong foundation with databases and analytics tooling (e.g., SQL; programming languages such as Python/R as applicable).
Experience with Azure DevOps (Azure Repos, Pipelines/CI‑CD, Boards) to support structured delivery and traceable releases.
Understanding of data pipelines / integration concepts (ETL, APIs, data mapping/transformations) and comfort partnering with engineering teams.
Familiarity with enterprise platforms commonly used in supply chain environments (e.g., SAP/IBP) is valuable.
Location
This role is intended for Europe SPSC and is commonly based in Sissa (IT)
Required to be close to a Corteva seed production site (Aussone, France; Afumati, Romania; Sissa Trecasali, Italy; Parndorf, Austria; Szarvas, Hungary).
Expected 5-10% of international travel within Europe.
