For our client, we are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer – Machinery & Production Lines (m/f/d) who will contribute to the design of machines and automated production lines and work together with the engineering team to implement manufacturing solutions.
Your role
As a Design Engineer, you will be part of an engineering team and work on the development and design of machines and automated production systems.
The main focus of your role will be mechanical design and the detailed development of technical solutions. At the same time, you will contribute your technical expertise to conceptual discussions within the team.
Your responsibilities
Mechanical Design
* Design of machines and production systems
* Creation of 3D models, assemblies, and detailed designs
* Dimensioning and design of mechanical components and interfaces
* Integration of sensors, actuators, and mechanical components into production systems
* Technical coordination with electrical engineering, automation, and manufacturing teams
Technical Development
* Further development of existing machines and assemblies
* Development of technical solutions in machinery and production line engineering
* Support of prototypes, testing, and technical optimizations
* Participation in the development of machine and production line concepts
Your profile
Professional qualifications
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Technical High School or Technical University)
* At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design in machinery or production line engineering
* Very good CAD skills (SolidWorks or similar)
* Experience with automation technology, sensors, or actuators
* Experience with non-metallic materials is a plus
* Very good English skills, knowledge of German language is a plus
