We are seeking a Manager, Operations (m/w/d) – Bravecto Bulk Coach at our Vienna production site, full-time, immediate start.
Responsibilities include:
* Leading, developing, and coaching employees, including coordinating training
* Ensuring timely execution of production plans
* Monitoring operational processes through rounds and workflow reviews
* Ensuring operational readiness and functionality of production machinery in collaboration with technicians
* Contributing to process optimization and project collaboration
* Implementing and tracking improvement measures
* Reporting operational issues, collaborating on problem investigation, approving solutions, and ensuring implementation, in line with internal and external guidelines, with support from Manufacturing Lead and other managers in serious incidents
* Overseeing documentation of production activities (e.g., batch records) complying with all guidelines and deadlines
* Promoting safety culture and ensuring compliance with safety policies
* Encouraging a lean culture, employee engagement, and responsibility
* Raising awareness for quality issues, supporting process improvements within existing management systems
* Implementing EHS measures with the EHS department
* Supporting SOP and manufacturing regulation revisions
* Supporting qualification and validation activities, monitoring deviations, CAPAs, change requests, within deadlines
* Conducting Tier 1 meetings and participating in Tier 2
* Maintaining current training status of all team members
* Supporting GMP and EHS audits
* Managing staff, executing responsibilities independently, and handling complex tasks requiring expertise
* Reviewing batch documentation and confirming GMP-compliant manufacturing (delegated by Manufacturing Manager)
Qualifications:
* Technical or scientific degree (e.g., HTL, university)
* Proven experience in GMP-regulated pharma or biotech manufacturing, especially in production support and improvements
* Experience in team leadership is advantageous
* Extensive experience with deviations, CAPAs, and change management
* Experience with audits (internal & external)
* Knowledge of relevant regulations (CFR/Eudralex, ICH) and implementation experience
* Project experience and familiarity with improvement tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, DMAIC) are beneficial
* Fluent German, good English skills
* Proficient in MS Office

The minimum salary is EUR 61,300 gross per year, with willingness to negotiate based on qualifications and experience.
