We are a well-established, independently owned automotive repair shop with over 40 years of trusted service in our community. We’re looking for an experienced Automotive Repair Shop Manager to lead daily operations, support our technicians, and help drive continued growth while maintaining the honest, customer-first values our shop is known for.
Position Overview
The Shop Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring high-quality repairs, exceptional customer service, and a positive, productive work environment. This role is ideal for a motivated leader with strong automotive knowledge and a passion for running a successful, ethical repair business.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage daily shop operations, workflow, and scheduling
* Lead, mentor, and support technicians ensuring a positive productive team.
* Ensure repairs are completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards
* Communicate clearly with customers regarding estimates, timelines, and repairs
* Oversee estimates, invoices, and basic financial performance
* Maintain shop organization, cleanliness, and compliance with safety standards>
* Oversee the purchase and returns of parts
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a shop manager, service manager, or lead technician
* Strong automotive repair knowledge (diagnostics, repair processes, parts)
* Proven leadership and team management skills
* Organized, dependable, and solutions-oriented
* Ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities
