To enhance our successful R&D Team in Leoben, Austria, we are looking for a passionate Engineer R&D In your role, you will contribute to the development and execution of strategic and internal innovation projects within AT&S. You will play a key part in evaluating new technologies, developing concepts, and translating customer requirements into effective technical solutions. By collaborating across international and cross-functional teams, you will help drive process improvements and ensure alignment with company strategy. Your work will directly support the advancement of high-tech equipment and processes, strengthening the company’s competitive position and innovation capabilities. Your Responsibilities Process development with focus on embedding topics in PCBs Independent parameter study and documentation of results Development of process parameters in compliance with AT&S processes, standards, and regulations to ensure efficient and high-quality outcomes Collaboration with cross-functional and international teams to exchange knowledge, support colleagues, and promote best practices across the organization Scout, evaluate, qualify, and monitor new equipment to ensure optimal performance and technological advancement within AT&S Handling high-tech equipment and electronic materials in accordance with all relevant safety standards and requirements Taking responsibility for small internal projects or work packages within strategic projects to achieve defined objectives and timelines Representing assigned tasks and project contributions to internal stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability for results Supporting the protection of intellectual property by ensuring proper handling and documentation of innovations and technical solutions Fostering effective communication and cooperation across departments and sites to ensure timely execution of commitments Documenting experimental setups, parameters, and results in concise technical reports to ensure transparent and traceable research workflows Your Profile Technical education (technical school, college, or equivalent experience), ideally in electronics or semiconductor industry Minimum 1 year of professional experience in a similar technical role, preferably 2-5 years of experience in R&D and related field Solid technical understanding combined with strong analytical and solution-oriented thinking Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken Strong communication and teamwork skills in an international environment High level of attention to detail, logical thinking, and structured working style Good organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively Our Offer A meaningful role with opportunities for long-term growth in an international environment Chance to actively contribute to AT&S´ success and to create value A structured and tailor-made onboarding program along with continual training opportunities Modern company canteen with freshly prepared meals every day Free parking spaces and e-charging stations Diverse health measures and a wide range of employee benefits Ready for a new challenge to advance your career?
