About the role
This position reports to Engineering Manager. The role includes acting as a design authority, completing assignments on small projects or portions of large projects, and applying design thinking concepts.
Responsibilities
* Evaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments.
* Providing technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities.
* Assisting in preparing proposals and presentations of engineering projects.
* Utilizing checklists to perform design verification according to applicable standards and engineering guidelines.
Qualifications
* Completed technical school (HTL/FH/TU) or electrical engineering apprenticeship/technical college with at least 5 years of professional experience.
* Good general IT skills: MS Office, AutoCAD, ECAD systems (such as EPlan, ECSCad, Comos PT, ...), SAP.
* Thorough focus on safe working practices and commitment to compliance with all relevant safety guidelines in the workplace.
* Very high level of self‑motivation, interest in new technologies, and aspiration to acquire new tools.
* Team‑oriented, solution‑oriented work style and very good written and verbal communication skills.
* Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken.

Compensation
In accordance with the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry in Austria, the minimum salary for this position is €3 400 gross per month as of May 2025. Compensation above this level may be offered depending on qualifications and experience.
